Island story
Angus Hector “Happy Angus” MacDonald was born at Little Sands, Prince Edward Island, and became the head of a large Pictou Island family with Adeline “Dollie” MacFarlane. Their children included figures central to later Island history, including John Alexander “Jack Happy” MacDonald and Andrew “Happy” MacDonald. The family is closely connected with fishing, lighthouse life and the Island’s oral-history tradition. Angus is commemorated with Adeline at R9-006.

Incomplete names and identity candidates
Name and accepted-alias matches appear before initials-only possibilities. Within each group, records with no known date conflict and an accepted connection to the selected relative appear first. This is an evidence ordering, not a probability. Compare generation, known relatives, census units, memorials and dated sources in each record. No suggestion changes a family relationship.
