Island story
Eva Harriet Campbell was born in 1923 to Harold Campbell and Reta MacLellan and married John Thomas Munro in 1943. Her obituary records work in physical education and the YWCA as well as long involvement with Pictou Island community life, including the Island Community Association and later civic and volunteer activity. Eva’s story helps show how Pictou Island remained a community not only through permanent residence but through sustained family, organizational and seasonal ties. She and John share a Church Cemetery memorial at C-009. Her 2022 death is documented by obituary; the memorial had not yet been updated when photographed, and memorial presence is kept separate from proof of interment.

Incomplete names and identity candidates
Name and accepted-alias matches appear before initials-only possibilities. Within each group, records with no known date conflict and an accepted connection to the selected relative appear first. This is an evidence ordering, not a probability. Compare generation, known relatives, census units, memorials and dated sources in each record. No suggestion changes a family relationship.

195 enumerated residents in 37 original census family units. These are source households, not inferred genealogical branches or street addresses. Cancelled entries are excluded; source spellings and recorded ages are retained.
A person-to-household crosswalk has not been accepted here for this selection. Browse the source units independently below.
Other census years remain in the existing research records pending equivalent public field and identity review.
