Island story
Duncan MacKenzie is commemorated at R6-011 with Hannah MacKenzie and three additional MacKenzie names. The memorial records Duncan as 1810–1891 and identifies Hannah as his wife. The memorial alone does not state the relationships of the other named people. The younger Duncan’s 1926 death registration names Duncan and Hannah as his parents, establishing that relationship; Alexander and Jessie’s relationships remain unresolved. The 1881 census lists Duncan McKenzie, aged 70, and Hannah, aged 65, in family 8, alongside Alex, 34; Duncan, 30; Murdoch, 26; and Bella, 19. This schedule has no relationship-to-head column, so the household list does not independently establish the relationships of its members. The Duncan McKenzie named as a farmer in the 1838 Island return has not been securely identified with this man.

Incomplete names and identity candidates
Name and accepted-alias matches appear before initials-only possibilities. Within each group, records with no known date conflict and an accepted connection to the selected relative appear first. This is an evidence ordering, not a probability. Compare generation, known relatives, census units, memorials and dated sources in each record. No suggestion changes a family relationship.

195 enumerated residents in 37 original census family units. These are source households, not inferred genealogical branches or street addresses. Cancelled entries are excluded; source spellings and recorded ages are retained.
A person-to-household crosswalk has not been accepted here for this selection. Browse the source units independently below.
Other census years remain in the existing research records pending equivalent public field and identity review.
