Island story
Margaret C. MacDonald is commemorated at R7-013 with John C. MacDonald. The memorial records a birth year of 1859, while the death year is not captured in the current transcription. Margaret C. MacCallum married John McC. McDonald at Pictou on 5 December 1878. Their marriage return states that both were born and living on Pictou Island. Her 1950 death registration, using the name Margaret Katharine MacDonald, records her as John C. MacDonald's widow and names her parents as Donald MacCallum and Annie MacKay. She died on the Island on 12 June 1950. The recorded burial or removal was to Pictou Island; no cemetery or plot is identified.

Incomplete names and identity candidates
Name and accepted-alias matches appear before initials-only possibilities. Within each group, records with no known date conflict and an accepted connection to the selected relative appear first. This is an evidence ordering, not a probability. Compare generation, known relatives, census units, memorials and dated sources in each record. No suggestion changes a family relationship.

195 enumerated residents in 37 original census family units. These are source households, not inferred genealogical branches or street addresses. Cancelled entries are excluded; source spellings and recorded ages are retained.
A person-to-household crosswalk has not been accepted here for this selection. Browse the source units independently below.
Other census years remain in the existing research records pending equivalent public field and identity review.
