The 1931 census transcription records fisherman John H. MacLean, Maggie and their children Gerald, Joyce, Flossie, Anderson and Alvin. Joyce, aged seven, appears to be Joyce MacLean (1924–1987), whose stone is inscribed “their daughter”.
Flossie MacLean in this household may be Flossie MacDonald (1925–1991), also remembered here. That identification remains uncertain.
