Island story

Clarence Leopold MacFarlane appears in the 1931 Pictou Island census at age thirteen in Robert MacFarlane’s household. The Pioneer Cemetery family monument at R10-008 identifies Clarence Leopold as the son of Robert and Margaret Catherine MacFarlane and records his years as 1918–1936. The agreement between census age, household and monument makes his identity strong. His short life is not yet documented beyond family and cemetery sources, so the biography remains deliberately concise.
