Connections remembered on the stones

Supported family connections

These connections are stated in marker transcriptions and are shown separately from broader family history. Additional vital, census, church or family records may add detail.

Hooper / MacLean

Lester, Annabell and John Ralph Hooper

Annabell is identified as Lester’s wife and John Ralph as their son.

The transcription says John is buried in Holland; the Pioneer marker therefore commemorates him but does not establish burial here.

Veterans Affairs Canada independently identifies John Ralph Hooper as the son of Lester and Annabell Hooper and records his burial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, grave XVI. A. 2.

About family connections
