PARL / NovaStory R2-001. This identifier links the record and its photographs within the 2013 source-position system. It does not establish a physical location or adjacency to another stone.

PIHS identifies Annabelle and John Ralph in these photographs. Veterans Affairs names Lester and Annabell as John Ralph’s parents. The group also includes Sidney and Theodore; it is not a portrait of everyone on the monument.

Veterans Affairs Canada independently identifies John Ralph Hooper as the son of Lester and Annabell Hooper and records his burial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, grave XVI. A. 2.

The transcription says John is buried in Holland; the Pioneer marker therefore commemorates him but does not establish burial here.
