Cathy Marie Chesnutt: community service
Cathy Marie Chesnutt (1961–2017) was the daughter of Lloyd and Isabelle (Cameron) Chesnutt. Her obituary records more than twenty years as a part-time Island resident and service as a committee member, director and secretary of the Pictou Island Community Association.
Cathy’s sister Nancy is married to Almer MacDonald. Nancy and Almer are longtime Pictou Island residents.
Her obituary remembers her close friendship with Lorraine and Bill MacMillan, whom she regarded as a second mother and brother.
