Island story
Daniel T. MacLean is commemorated at R4-007 with Torquil and Isabella MacLean. His 1929 death registration names him Daniel Theodore McLean, records his death on Pictou Island on 31 December 1929 at age nineteen, and names Torquil McLean and Isabella McLean as his parents. It records his occupation as fisherman and burial on Pictou Island on 2 January 1930. The memorial records 1910–1929; the death certificate does not fill in his birth-date field.
