Island story
Howard E. MacCallum is commemorated with Jessie M. MacCallum at Church Cemetery memorial C-003. Family evidence, including Beatrice Ann Bennett’s obituary, identifies Howard and Jessie as her parents. Ruth Munro’s family material also places Howard among the children of Charles C. and Christy Ann MacCallum, while the 1931 census provides a strong age and family match. His fuller work history remains to be developed.

Incomplete names and identity candidates
Name and accepted-alias matches appear before initials-only possibilities. Within each group, records with no known date conflict and an accepted connection to the selected relative appear first. This is an evidence ordering, not a probability. Compare generation, known relatives, census units, memorials and dated sources in each record. No suggestion changes a family relationship.

Daniel Kenzie McCallum
Daniel Kenzie McCallum
A FamilySearch family tree names Daniel Kenzie McCallum among the children of Charles Martin Creighton McCallum and Christie Ann MacDonald, alongside Howard, Arthur Roy and Duncan W. McCallum. The original marriage registration of 3 July 1943 at New Glasgow records Daniel Kenzie MacCallum as a thirty-nine-year-old bachelor and fisherman, born and residing on Pictou Island, with parents Charles MacCallum and Christy Ann MacDonald. His bride is recorded as Hughena Mae MacDonald, a forty-eight-year-old widow, also Island-born and resident. Her connection to the Hughena who married John William in 1907 remains qualified because the recorded ages differ. The fuller paternal name is retained as family-tree evidence.

Duncan W. McCallum
Duncan W. McCallum
Duncan W. McCallum is preserved among the children of Charles Martin Creighton McCallum and Christie Ann MacDonald in the family-created genealogy. His 25 April 1939 marriage at St Andrew’s manse, Pictou, records him as Duncan Willie MacCallum, a thirty-one-year-old fisherman born and resident on Pictou Island. It names father Charles MacCallum and mother Christie Ann MacDonald, corroborating that existing parental household. His bride Annie Jane Ferguson, twenty, was resident on the Island and born at White Sands, Prince Edward Island, with father Arthur Ferguson and mother Minnie Catherine MacCallum. Arthur and Minnie’s 17 December 1913 marriage separately names Minnie’s parents Hugh and Flora. These are source-supported ordinary family comparisons; no exact birth date, death date or new spouse identity is inferred from the marriage alone.
