Flora MacPherson MacFarlane married Andrew MacFarlane on 11 August 1891 and shared the household associated with his later East Lighthouse service. The Pioneer Cemetery family memorial records Flora, Andrew, Mary Catherine and Mae C.R.N. MacFarlane. Census evidence and the Chapter 20 source review establish Flora as Andrew’s wife and as the recorded or social mother in the household, while Mae’s biological parentage remains unsettled.
