Island story

Annie Wilkins MacCallum married Allan MacFarlane in 1905 and became a central link between the MacCallum and MacFarlane families on Pictou Island. Their Pioneer Cemetery family monument at R9-017 records Annie W. MacCallum MacFarlane, Allan, Smith A. and Helen S. MacFarlane, while nearby family memorials extend the story into the next generation. Annie’s exact birth and death chronology is not fully reconciled: the physical monument gives 1888–1934, while derivative sources differ. This account therefore preserves the monument dates as the physical inscription but does not treat them as final civil chronology until the conflicting records are resolved.
