Ralph C. MacCallum

Island story

Ralph C. MacCallum was a son of Lauchie D. MacCallum in the 1931 Pictou Island census, where he appears at age eleven in the family household with his brother John and sister Helen. His Pioneer Cemetery memorial at R2-007 records the years 1919–1950, and the adjacent R3-007 footstone reads simply “RALPH.” PIHS has reconciled those two physical records as the same person. Further evidence about Ralph’s adult life and work has not yet been recovered, so this record remains a concise, source-controlled profile.
