Harold A. Bennett, Beatrice A. Bennett and their infant son, remembered in 1962, share a memorial. The stone gives Harold’s birth year but no death date, and does not name the infant.
Brent Bennett remembers his grandfather Harold as a farm hand for Campbell MacCallum. His grandmother, Beatrice, was a MacCallum by birth.
Beatrice Ann Bennett died on 9 June 2008, aged seventy-seven. Born on Pictou Island, she was a daughter of Howard and Jessie (MacDonald) MacCallum. Her obituary names her husband Harold, their children and an infant son who predeceased her, and records a graveside service in Pictou Island Cemetery.
