Island story

Adeline “Dollie” MacFarlane married Angus Hector “Happy Angus” MacDonald and became part of one of Pictou Island’s best-documented later family networks. Ruth Munro’s family material and controlled PIHS research link their household to children including John Alexander “Jack Happy” MacDonald and Andrew “Happy” MacDonald. Her memorial preserves the MacFarlane maiden surname.
